Youth Group

WELCOME TO THE FULP YOUTH

The Fulp Youth includes students in Elementary thru High School. We meet on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm for bible study, prayer, fun and fellowship.

We polled a few of the youth and this is what they had to say:

Fulp youth means very much to me. I love to go there and learn about Jesus. Fulp youth has the best youth leader, Christina. She has taught me so much about Jesus. I also love going on trips with the other kids I go to church with. I enjoy playing and talking to them. — Lane.

"The Fulp Youth is not only a youth group, but a family. Everyone involved in this group has taught me so many things about Jesus’s love and what he has done for me. We’ve learned about countless Bible stories and made life long friendships through Bible study, trips, and discussions about what all God does for us daily. This youth group has been there for me through the highs and the lows and built me up to be the woman in Christ I am today. This group has given me a strong foundation and a safe and loving environment to discuss the Lord and his greatness." — Sloan

"Our youth is a fun group of students. I’ve made a lot of new friends over the time I’ve started going to Fulp. I look forward to Sunday’s and Wednesday’s. And I’ve enjoyed all the trips we have went on over the last couple years." — Christian

I like coming to Fulp because of all the people, the love that we share with every person that comes in the doors." — RJ

Women's Fellowship

The women of Fulp Moravian Church have very active groups. There are three “Women’s Circles” that meet on a monthly basis for Bible study, prayer, food and activities.

Circle 1

This ladies group meets the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm. We either meet at the home of one of our members or in the Fellowship Hall. During our meetings we have fellowship, prayer time, Bible study, go over any old or new business and eat wonderful food provided by each other. We invite anyone who isn’t currently involved with a women’s circle to join us. We are very casual and have a great time every time we get together.

Circle Of Friend (Circle 2)

Circle of Friends or Circle 2 meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month August through May. Our circle has a devotional/study and we plan at each meeting enjoying fellowship of other women of faith. We plan a meal out for our December and May meeting. We make chicken pies three times a year to raise money that we can use to further the needs of our church. We also do meals for shut-ins, widow(er)s, and anyone who is in need due to an illness each quarter. We even have members who may not be able to attend meetings but participate in other ways.

Circle 3

This ladies group is our day circle and they meet once a month for their meeting time while eating breakfast. Fill out contact form →

Prayer Quilt Ministry

A group of women came together, piecing block by block, a Moravian quilt to be donated to our Church's Fall Bazaar. The interest in quilting blossomed, thus in 2006 the Fulp Moravian Quilt Ministry began its mission. This group of ladies started making prayer quilts with the help of donated sewing machines and fabric. The quilts are made with willing hands and love to give hope and encouragement to those in need of prayer. In the process of quilting, strings are added to the quilt. These strings are used to tie knots representing prayers for the individual recipient. The quilt is dedicated during the worship service.

Following worship service, the congregation has the opportunity to tie a knot and say a prayer for the individual recipient. Our hope is that the Prayer Quilt comforts the recipient, both spiritually and physically.

Currently the quilters are as follows:
Sharon Cline
Sharon Nance
Judy Long
Evonne Marshall
Dottie Via

If you'd like to join, get with a member to find out how!

Rockin' Seniors

The Fulp Moravian “Rockin’ Seniors” are a group of “young at heart” men and women who meet on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 P.M.. We meet either at a Restaurant in a private dinning room or at the church Fellowship Hall. It is a time of good Christian fellowship and food, followed by a special guest speaker or group for entertainment. We all love good food and fellowship so why not stop by and check us out? Our “senior age” is 50 but we welcome anyone who would like to join us.

Mission Trips

In Matthew 28:18-20 our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ gave us the command to “go and make disciples of all nations.” In John 20:21 He made it clear that “I am sending you.”

In response to those clear mandates we strive to enable members and friends of Fulp Moravian Church to fulfill their call for mission work by participating in short-term mission trips. Since 2006 Fulp Moravian has sent a Mission Team to help be the hands and feet of Jesus. We have partnered with the Moravian Church Southern Province, Habitat For Humanity, Samaritan’s Purse; and . For the past few years we have joined with Oak Grove Moravian church in a joint Mission Team.

Every Spring we gather to gauge interest and the level of commitment for that summer’s Mission Team. If you feel called by God to use your gifts and abilities serving on a short-term mission team, please contact us for more information.
